Nutbutter, the proudly Irish, independently owned eatery known for its bold, globally inspired dishes and feel-good food philosophy is set to open its largest location yet at Dundrum Town Centre this autumn.
Since first launching in Grand Canal Dock in 2018, Nutbutter has built a loyal following for its wholesome, vibrant atmosphere and menu that proves healthy food doesn’t have to mean compromise. From Mexican Pozole and their twist on Irish Stew, to tacos, tostadas, creative desserts and more, everything is made fresh daily using standout Irish ingredients, with no refined sugar and a mission to make nutritious food exciting, fast and deeply satisfying.
The new Dundrum site, located in the former Starbucks unit overlooking the Mill Pond, will be the brand’s third location and most ambitious project to date. The space features over 180 seats across two floors, including a relaxed balcony and spacious waterside terrace, all served with the laid-back, beachy Nutbutter vibe fans know and love.
To mark the launch, a Dundrum-exclusive autumn menu will debut, featuring location-only dishes, a curated cocktail and wine list, new kids’ options, and desserts that are mostly plant-based. Nutbutter will remain walk-in only, making it easy for guests to pop in for lunch or dinner, with takeaway and delivery available daily from 11.30am to 9.30pm. Coffee comes courtesy of Irish small-batch legends 250Square.
“Nutbutter was born from a personal journey after burnout forced me to change my life, I set out to build a restaurant that made healthy food exciting, fast, and truly satisfying. What started as recovery became a mission to help others feel better, one meal at a time,” said Paddy Hogan, founder of Nutbutter.“Dundrum Town Centre has long been our most requested location – locals and workers there have had no access to Nutbutter. Our mission is to nourish, delight, and entertain people wherever they are, so opening in Dundrum is a major milestone and one we’re deeply grateful for.”
As with every Nutbutter store, sustainability remains at the heart of the operation – from heat recovery systems and reclaimed materials in the fit-out to an evolving, seasonal menu built around Irish producers and suppliers. The brand’s long-term ambition is to go beyond sustainability and move into regenerative practices – something Paddy and the team are passionate about championing in the Irish hospitality space.
Don Nugent, Senior General Manager at Dundrum Town Centre, added:
“Nutbutter is a brilliant addition to the Centre — they offer something truly unique that we know our visitors are going to love. From their vibrant dishes and sustainability ethos to the quality of experience they bring, they’re a perfect fit for Dundrum’s growing food offering. We’re delighted to welcome them.”
With over 40 food offerings on-site and a dedicated Dining District that continues to evolve, Dundrum Town Centre is firmly established as one of Dublin’s top foodie destinations. The arrival of Nutbutter adds even more depth and flavour to the mix, and signals the Centre’s continued commitment to bringing best-in-class, experience-led dining to its customers.
