After selling at record speed earlier this year, with one unit purchased every 24 seconds on launch morning Lidl Ireland’s most in-demand kitchen innovation, the Monsieur Cuisine Smart by Silvercrest, is set to return this autumn, just in time for cosy evenings and hearty home cooking. Perfect for whipping up comforting Irish favourites like creamy potato and leek soup, slow-cooked beef and Guinness stew, or freshly baked brown bread, the all-in-one appliance makes it easy to create warming dishes as the evenings draw in. For the first time, shoppers will be able to secure the coveted appliance ahead of general sale thanks to Lidl’s new Click, Reserve & Collect service, available exclusively through the Lidl Plus app from Monday 22nd September 2025.
The Monsieur Cuisine Smart priced at just €499.99 is designed to tackle the everyday challenges of home cooking. According to new consumer research conducted by Lidl, the research reveals that Monsieur Cuisine is transforming kitchens across the country, with over 90% stating it makes cooking easier (91%), faster (91%), and more enjoyable (92%). 78.5% report that since using the Monsieur Cuisine it helps them reduce grocery waste as the Monsieur Cuisine supports smarter shopping and portion control, helping users make the most of every ingredient and over 85% would recommend the new cooking appliance to a friend reflecting the trust and satisfaction users feel after integrating the Monsieur Cuisine into their daily routines. These findings underscore Monsieur Cuisine’s growing role in modern kitchens not just as a time-saver, but as a source of inspiration and sustainability.
Packed with features, the Monsieur Cuisine Smart combines guided cooking with step-by-step video instructions on a large 8-inch colour touchscreen, app connectivity for remote operation and voice control, a built-in scale for precision, and even a self-cleaning mode. With over 600 pre-programmed recipes, it inspires creativity in the kitchen, while suggesting dishes based on ingredients already at home. From steaming and roasting to slow cooking, kneading, chopping, and blending, it takes on the role of multiple appliances, freeing up space and time for busy households.

From Monday 22nd September, customers can reserve up to two Monsieur Cuisine units priced at just €499.99 each through the Lidl Plus app, selecting their preferred store for collection between Wednesday 1st and Sunday 5th October. In addition, customers will receive a €100 voucher through the Lidl Plus app to help create their favourite meals. Payment is made at checkout upon collection. For those who miss out on the reservation window, the appliance will go on general sale nationwide from Thursday 9th October. The Lidl Plus app is free to download from the App Store or Google Play, simply register to access the Click, Reserve & Collect service.

91.1% of users agree that Monsieur Cuisine makes cooking easier, with nearly half (48.9%) strongly agreeing. This reflects the appliance’s intuitive design and multifunctional capabilities that simplify even the most complex recipes.
91.1% say it saves them time in the kitchen, with 45.2% strongly agreeing. Whether it’s chopping, mixing, or cooking, Monsieur Cuisine streamlines every step freeing up time for what matters most.
92.6% find that it makes cooking more enjoyable, with 48.1% strongly agreeing. By removing the stress and adding inspiration, Monsieur Cuisine turns daily meals into moments of creativity and joy.
89.6% feel inspired to try new recipes, with 51.1% strongly agreeing. With guided cooking and a vast recipe library, users are expanding their culinary horizons and building confidence in the kitchen.
78.5% report that it helps reduce grocery waste, with 31.9% strongly agreeing. Monsieur Cuisine supports smarter shopping and portion control, helping users make the most of every ingredient.
84.4% say it makes meal planning easier, with 42.2% strongly agreeing. From weekly prep to last-minute dinners, the appliance helps users stay organised and reduce mealtime stress.
85.2% would recommend Monsieur Cuisine to a friend, with 56.3% strongly agreeing. This high level of advocacy reflects the trust and satisfaction users feel after integrating Monsieur Cuisine into their daily routines.
The research was conducted by Lidl Ireland via the Lidl Plus app, targeting Monsieur Cuisine shoppers. Of the 588 customers invited to participate, 135 responded representing a strong and engaged sample of users.
