Domino’s, the nation’s best-loved pizza, is celebrating the opening of its latest Cork store with a new launch in Glanmire. The highly anticipated store is the latest in a series of openings, delivering a total of 20 new roles to the area including store management, pizza chefs, customer service colleagues and delivery drivers.
Domino’s aims to be at the heart of local communities and Domino’s Glanmire is no different, wanting to deliver more than just great-tasting, fresh pizza. The team behind the new local Glanmire store are keen to create a positive impact in the local community and will be donating €2,000 to local efforts to repair the local Sarsfields pitch. The pitch was damaged in 2023 during Storm Babet, when the local club opened its gates to allow floodwater in, to help reduce damage to peoples’ homes.
On Thursday 23rd May, from 3pm until 6pm, Domino’s Pizza Glanmire held their official opening where they presented Sarsfields with the donation and invited the community for free pizza, giveaways and music with the Red FM street fleet.
