Púca Festival Reveals New Headliners: Leftfield And Jenny Greene

The Púca Festival continues to attract major talent for the world-famous festival in Ireland’s Ancient East, as UK electronic dance group Leftfield (DJ Set) and Irish DJ Jenny Greene are added to the line-up. Developed by Fáilte Ireland in partnership with Meath County Council, the Púca Festival celebrates Ireland as the birthplace of Halloween with an authentic, immersive, and otherworldly festival. Vibrant, fun, and contemporary in feel but strongly rooted in tradition, the Púca Festival will take place in festival hubs Trim and Athboy in County Meath, from Thursday, 31st October to Sunday, 3rd November 2024.

Working in partnership with Irish and international artists, seanchaí storytellers, and the local community the Púca Festival will showcase the best in contemporary Irish music, spectacle, and performance in Ireland’s Ancient East.

Leftfield, a pioneering force in British house music, was formed in 1989 and emerged publicly in 1990 with “Not Forgotten,” a track that set the stage for a distinct new strain of UK house music. Their debut album “Leftism,” released in January 1995, is hailed as a cornerstone of dance music, blending diverse musical styles and impeccable rhythms.

The Púca Festival also welcomes Irish DJ Jenny Greene, one of Ireland’s most successful DJs, who has been a leading figure in the Irish dance music scene for nearly two decades. Known for her dynamic DJ sets blending house, melodic techno, electronica, and classics, Jenny regularly performs to sold-out crowds, captivating audiences at festivals and arenas across Ireland.

Tickets to Leftfield (DJ Set) and Jenny Greene’s performances will go on sale on Friday 2nd August and will cost €45 in addition to booking fee. Early bird tickets will be available with a 10% off discount code for customers who use code PUCAEARLYBIRD. The Performance will take place at The Big Top on 1st November.

Leftfield (DJ Set) and Jenny Greene join a stellar programme announced last month, with acts including Gavin James, Kingfishr, Bell X1, The High Kings, Dermot Whelan, Panti Bliss, Mary Coughlan, Deirdre O’Kane, Neil Delamere, The Dirt Birds, Davina Devine, Tom Dunne, Fiachna O’Braonáin & Alan Connor, Emma Langford, Ruaile Buaile, Qween and Dublin Gospel Choir, The Classic Beatles and The Hans Zimmer Experience, with more musical, comedy, storytelling and folklore acts set to be announced shortly.
