August 30th and 31st 2025 saw car lovers, shoppers and families switch into top gear and accelerate to Dundrum Town Centre as Supercar Weekend returned for its fourth year in partnership with Carzone, Ireland’s trusted motoring marketplace. The high-octane free event transformed Dundrum’s red car park into a red-carpet showroom of 100 world-class supercars, rare vintage vehicles, and futuristic hybrids, with a combined value of over €20 million.
Hosted by broadcaster and self-confessed petrolhead Anna Daly, visitors were taken on a journey from the dawn of automotive design to the electrified future of motoring, with exciting panel talks, a Grand Prix Lounge, and charity partners Bumbleance.
Headlining the cars were the €2 million 1955 Mercedes 300SL Gullwing, an icon widely considered to be the world’s first supercar. Famed for its dramatic upward-opening doors, the Gullwing was joined by a modern Italian counterpart, a 2016 Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 5.2 V10 Coupe of equally jaw-dropping design for the ultimate “then vs. now” supercar moment. From sleek hybrids to cult Japanese Domestic Models (JDMs), the event delivered something for every kind of enthusiast, including the Ferrari 296 GTS, a drop-top hybrid that blends cutting-edge technology with everyday usability, and 90’s icon the Ferrari F40 the last car approved by Enzo Ferrari himself.
Don Nugent, Centre Director at Dundrum Town Centre, commented: “Supercar Weekend is always a standout moment in our calendar, where we showcase the best collection of cars in the country, in a premium, indoor, all-weather setting that’s completely free to attend. It’s an incredible experience whether you’re a lifelong petrolhead or just someone looking for a fun, family-friendly day out.”
Anna Daly said: “Supercar Weekend is genuinely one of the most thrilling and feel-good events of the summer. The atmosphere is electric, the stories behind the cars are fascinating, and there’s something special about how this event brings together collectors, families and fans of all ages in such a fun and accessible way.”
