Ford is making the switch to electric easier than ever with a new partnership with Ohme, its official home EV charging partner in Ireland. As part of the Ford Power Promise, qualifying customers can now receive a complimentary Ohme home charger, including standard installation when purchasing a Ford electric vehicle.
The initiative is designed to remove the uncertainty many drivers still feel about going electric. With home charging often seen as a barrier, Ford’s partnership with Cork-based Ohme delivers a simple, reliable solution that lets drivers charge smarter, greener and at lower cost from day one.
Alongside the free home charger, the Ford Power Promise includes an eight-year battery warranty, five years of free servicing and towing assistance, plus easy access to over 3,900 public charging points via Ford’s BlueOval Charge Network.
The offer applies across Ford’s growing electric lineup, including the new all-electric Explorer, Capri and Puma Gen-E, as well as the Mustang Mach-E and a range of electrified commercial vehicles.
With electric vehicle sales already surging across Ireland, the Ford and Ohme partnership marks another step towards a cleaner, more connected driving future, making the move to electric simpler, smarter and more accessible for everyone.
Harris PR supported Ford in making the announcement through strategic media relations, achieving 19 pieces of earned coverage and a total potential reach of 722,585.
