Independent Fashion Brand Celebrates Growth with New Store Opening

Fresh Cuts New Galway Store

Independent Dublin fashion brand Fresh Cuts announced the opening of its first-ever Galway store in November 2025. This marked a major milestone for the homegrown label as it brings its consciously designed collections to the West of Ireland for the first time, just ahead of the festive period.

Founded in 2015 by husband and wife duo, Steven and Lorna Murphy, Fresh Cuts has built a strong reputation for ethical Irish fashion, with all pieces designed in Dublin and produced using GOTS-certified organic cotton and lower-impact fabrics. The brand’s AW25 knitwear continues this ethos, featuring deadstock yarns, rich seasonal colourways and new silhouettes including a knitted dress and relaxed co-ord set.

The Galway opening represents a carefully considered step in Fresh Cuts’ growth, staying true to its values of sustainability, craftsmanship and longevity. This momentum has been supported by Harris PR, who first partnered with the brand in 2023 on a modest-budget campaign that significantly raised Fresh Cuts’ national profile. The campaign went on to win Best Consumer Public Relations Campaign (Budget €20k or under) at the 2023 PR Awards, praised for its innovative influencer strategy, strong media coverage and exceptional commercial impact.

With its Galway expansion, award-winning PR strategy and growing loyal following, Fresh Cuts continues to demonstrate how Irish fashion brands can scale responsibly while remaining true to their core values.
