Petmania Marks 10 Years of Operation TransPAWmation with Expert Support for Pet Health

Petmania is celebrating a major milestone this year as its flagship pet health initiative, Operation TransPAWmation, marks 10 years of supporting healthier, happier pets across Ireland, and Harris PR is thrilled to be on board to support them.

Running throughout February and March, the campaign is designed to help pet owners make small, achievable changes that can have a big impact on their pets’ long-term wellbeing. Since launching in 2017, Operation TransPAWmation has supported more than 12,000 pet owners nationwide.

New research carried out by Petmania, and revealed at a media event organised by Harris PR in Dublin’s Drury Buildings, highlights why the programme matters more than ever. Six in ten pet owners worry about age-related health and mobility issues, while over 40% are concerned about their pets’ mental wellbeing, yet many feel unsure how best to support them day to day. Nutrition, allergies and preventative care also remain areas where pet owners are looking for clearer guidance.

To help close these gaps, Petmania has partnered with leading experts in animal health and behaviour, including Clinical Animal Behaviourist Alice Chau and Veterinary Surgeon Elise O’Byrne White. Together, they’ll provide practical, evidence-based advice to help owners feel more confident in caring for their pets at every life stage.

Operation TransPAWmation focuses on five key pillars of pet wellness: Nutrition, Dental Care, Preventative Healthcare, Exercise & Play, and Grooming. Throughout the campaign, Petmania’s in-store teams will offer personalised advice, weight and body condition checks, and tailored support across all areas.

Pet owners can take part by signing up online or visiting their local Petmania store to access expert tips, ongoing guidance and in-store support, helping every pet live a healthier, happier life.
