St. Patrick’s Festival returns to Dublin from 14-17 March 2026, inviting people at home and abroad to come together for four days and nights of culture, creativity and community.
This year’s theme, Roots, explores where we come from, what connects us and how Ireland’s shared story continues to grow. From ancient traditions to contemporary voices, the Festival celebrates identity, belonging and the lived experiences that shape modern Ireland.
At a national launch at EPIC Museum in Dublin coordinated by Harris PR, we showcased some of the artists participating in this year’s Festival and revealed how across the city, a vibrant programme will feature over 150 artists and 3,000 participants, spanning music, street theatre, dance, comedy, craft and participatory performance.
From family-friendly hubs and hands-on workshops to immersive performances and inclusive spaces, the programme is designed to be accessible, collaborative and welcoming to all.
The National St. Patrick’s Day Parade returns on Tuesday 17 March, promising a spectacular showcase of imagination and craft. Featuring large-scale floats, community groups, pageant makers and international marching bands, the Parade remains the centrepiece of the Festival, celebrating joy, diversity and creativity on Dublin’s streets.
The full programme is available now at www.stpatricksfestival.ie, with more events to be announced.
